GENERAL INFORMATION

We are limited to 65 participants for reasons of logistics and budget.

Because of our 65-person ceiling, we cannot accept guest participants at this time (non-Smith partners, children, friends).

Once you have completed your registration form, we will send you the bank transfer information (IBAN and BIC code).

All payments need to be made by bank transfer in Euros. Any transfer fees must be paid at the participant’s end.

Registration will be confirmed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration is only complete once we have received your registration fee payment by bank transfer.

If we reach our 65-participant limit before you reserve, we will let you know (no payment necessary in that case!) and establish a waiting list.

Opt-in events will require a separate sign-up and payment (on this website) in May 2024.

Allergies and food restrictions for the Gala Dinner

For those of you with food restrictions, we will try our best to work with the restaurant to accommodate you for the Gala dinner. We cannot provide Kosher or Halal meals but will try to ensure that the menu does not contain pork or that if it does, a vegetarian dish can be served to you instead.

Cancellation In principle, all registrations are final. If, unfortunately, you need to cancel after registering (payment received), we will work with you to find a solution, but we cannot guarantee reimbursement. We remind you that participants are responsible for making their own hotel bookings. To reserve at the reunion headquarters hotel, Les Jardins du Marais, see link in the “hotel” section. You are, of course, not obliged to reserve at the Les Jardins du Marais. Wherever you reserve, your hotel’s terms, conditions and cancellation policies apply. We strongly advise that participants subscribe to travel insurance. Number of participants A minimum of 50 participants is required to operate the Reunion at the quoted registration fees. Purchase of non-refundable services (plane tickets etc.) before the minimum number of participants has been reached, is at the sole risk and expense of the Participant. Scheduled Activities (included in the Registration Fee) Every effort will be made to provide such services and activities as listed. However, should unavoidable circumstances necessitate modifications to the schedule or venues, the best possible alternatives will be provided at the discretion of the organizers. Travel Documents and Baggage Valid personal documents such as a passport (and a visa where necessary) are required to enter France. Neither the organizers nor the Smith College Club of France are responsible for any issues caused by improper documentation, which may prevent you from entering the country at the time of the Reunion. Waiver By registering for the Smith in Europe Paris reunion 2024, you explicitly recognize that you are participating in the reunion, and all of its activities, at your own risk and acknowledge that the individual organizers and the Smith College Club of France make no warranties or representations, be they express or implied, regarding the safety of the venues used for this Reunion. You further acknowledge that international travel has inherent risks, dangers and hazards and that these risks and dangers may be caused by the negligence or civil responsibility of the owners, employees, officers, agents, or third-party contractors providing services for the Reunion, or by other participants at the Reunion, accidents, Acts of God, Force Majeure, or any other cause. In consideration of the above, you hereby release, discharge, waive, and hold harmless the organizers of this Reunion, the Smith College Club of France, its agents, officers, and third-party independent contractors from and against any and all claims, actions losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise during the Reunion or any participation therein.
